Meet our coaches and board members...

Head Coach
& Gold
Chas Grimm
Chas is our head coach. He is also the head coach of the Greenwood High School swim team and the assistant coach for the Greenwood Middle School swim team. Chas swam with Warren Central High school and competed as a member of the Indy Fins swim club. He then continued swimming at the collegiate level as a 4-year member of the IUPUI varsity swim team. During two of those years, Chas was team captain and the team's Strength and Conditioning coach. After some time as the assistant coach of the Lawrence North High school swim team, Chas came to Greenwood. Now, he's proud to be both a Woodman and a Gator!

Silver Group Coach
Justin Heinold
Justin is our Silver coach. He comes from La Porte, IN where he had a successful high school swimming career. He also brings teaching and coaching experience from La Porte. Before moving to the Indianapolis area, Justin taught swim lessons, coached the middle school swim team, and worked with the La Porte swim club. Justin graduates from the University of Indianapolis in May 2010 with a degree in Chemistry Education. He plans to teach high school Chemistry or middle school science in the Indianapolis area. Justin has plenty of other interests, too. Some of them include playing basketball and soccer, listening to music, leading a Bible study, playing video games, and eating. Justin has been a Gator for three years now!

Bronze Group Coach
Katie Hall
Katie is a senior at the University of
Indianapolis where she is studying Exercise
Science and Psychology. She will graduate
in December, 2011.
Katie grew up swimming year-round until she graduated from high school.
While living in her hometown of Fort Wayne, IN,
she also coached the prep team and assisted the swim team at Avalon Summer Sports Club.
Currently, Katie does more than just Gators.
She's also an assistant coach for the Greenwood High School and Middle School swim teams.
That's a lot of talent and a busy schedule!
We're thrilled to have Katie as a Gator!

Caryn Britton
Caryn was born in Ohio and moved to Indiana when
she was 10. She began swimming
competitively when she was in 6th grade, and
then continued to swim year-round throughout
high school. While in high school, Caryn
also participated in track and field each spring.
Caryn is
a recent graduate of Grace College in Warsaw, Indiana.
She currently lives in Indianapolis where she
takes additional classes at Ivy Tech.
Caryn loves to read and watch movies. She
was very recently married so her new husband
keeps her busy, too. She says she loves
being a Gator, and we're glad to have her!
