Pool Closings

If the Greenwood Community High School is closed due to weather, the pool will be closed for practice and lessons.  If we cancel practice due to weather during the holidays, it will be posted on this page.  We will also send out an e-mail in an effort to contact and advise of any closings.

In the event of thunder or lightning, we are required to remove swimmers from the water.  We will continue with practice entailing dry-land exercises and/or on-deck stroke instruction or informative videos until we are authorized to return to the water.  In the event of lessons, we will wait until the last available time to complete each sesson's 1/2 hour lessons for the evening, and if we cannot get back in the pool, we will reschedule the lesson.
