When Greenwood Community Schools are closed or dismissed due to weather, practice and swim lessons for the Gators will be cancelled as well.  When this occurs, we will attempt to advise each swimmer's family of the closing via email.

In the event of thunder or lightning, we are required to remove all swimmers from the water.  During these times, we will continue practice with dry-land exercises and/or on-deck stroke instruction until we are authorized to return to the water.  If swim lessons are affected, we will attempt to complete each session's half hour lesson.  If we cannot get back in the pool, we will reschedule affected swim lessons.
