Greenwood Gators is a non-profit organization run by members
of our community and parents of our swimmers. Our goal is to promote an interest in competitive swimming while providing a safe and supervised environment where kids of all ages
can gain confidence, build self-esteem and most of all have fun.
Greenwood Gators is a member of Indiana Swimming and USA Swimming.
Come by, and check out our
practices at the Greenwood Community High School natatorium
or, in warmer weather, the Greenwood City Pool to see if your child might be interested in joining the team.

End of season party: Thursday,
July 28., 6 - 8 pm. Craig Park shelter. We'll play games,
have fun, and eat ice cream! If your last name begins A - M,
please bring your favorite ice cream topping (syrups, nuts, cherries, whipped cream, etc.). If your swimmer's last name begins N-Z, please bring some sweet snacks to have with our melting ice cream.

Your child is
ready for our swim lessons if he or she is potty-trained
and is able to hold onto the side of the pool without
help. Parents do not enter the water with the
children.

Your child is
ready to join our swim team if he or she can swim an
entire length of the pool using the free style stroke or
nearly a free style stroke.
SUMMER LONG-COURSE SEASON
Dates & Times
April 12 - July 30, 5:30 - 7:30pm depending on your swim team group.
Additional outdoor morning practices will also be available depending on your
swim team group.
Cost
$140 - $200 depending on your swim team group.
Multi-swimmer discounts and payment plans are available.
Registration
Register Monday through Thursday, 5:30‒7:00

Swimmers may join the Gators Swim
Team at any time during our season. Many swimmers begin when their
other seasonal activities complete or following completion of Gators Swim
Lessons. If you would like to join mid-season, please speak to Coach
Grimm or one of our board members at the Greenwood High School natatorium
during any practice time.To make the most of your time on the team, Coach
Chas requests that swimmers be consistent in attendance starting with the
first practice at the beginning of the season. Most technical
instruction will occur in the first few weeks of practice!
